Mary is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum (alumni).
She is a Member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and a member of the International Women’s Forum (IWF).
Mary has served as Advisory Board Member for Village Capital Financial Inclusion Program, Finance Forward MENA.
Mary serves on the Board of the King Hussein Cancer Center and Foundation and the Royal Film Commission (RFC) and has spoken internationally on behalf of the RFC on the significance of Jordan as a key filming location and the importance of film as a driver of inclusive growth. She also served on the Board of INJAZ, an organization focused on entrepreneurship and education.
Mary sits on the board of advisors for WOMOTIVE an initiative that supports women to enter the automotive field.
Mary supports entrepreneurship programs to support Palestinian startups. She has conducted masterclasses on impact investment for FLOW accelerator in Palestine (video link) and has spoken at Build Palestine conferences and the International Conference on Entrepreneurship-Palestine.
Mary is an Advisor to the British Palestine Media Centre and has served on numerous Boards including: Al Shabaka, the Palestine Policy Network; the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund; and the Palestine Legal Aid Fund. She is also a supporter of Visualizing Palestine, a Patron of the Palestine History Tapestry and part of the Patrons Circle of the Palestinian Museum.
In the early 2000s, Mary was the campaign representative in Jordan for the Anti-Apartheid Wall Campaign, and she created an exhibition about the wall at Darat al Funun, Amman.
Mary was the youngest member of the Arab Thought Forum in Jordan where she lectured on international legal mechanisms available to the Palestinian people.
Mary created the Gaza Speaks Campaign, an award-winning web-based commemoration of the victims of Operation Cast Lead. She was featured in the film Stitching Palestine and at a UN Headquarters exhibit to mark International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
