Mary has engaged internationally at the intersection of business, justice, and impact. A Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum (alumni), she has spoken at platforms including the World Bank Annual Meetings, the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa, and the Global Impact Investing Network. She is a Board Member of the European Legal Support Center, a former Member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), and a Member of the International Women’s Forum (IWF). Her global work highlights refugee rights and inclusion, including speaking for UNHCR on World Refugee Day.
As Chair of the Amman Landmark, Mary has combined business leadership with social impact, introducing initiatives such as employing people with disabilities, launching an on-site daycare, and creating the Green Hub aquaponics farm. She is a founding member of Impact Jordan, a platform dedicated to building decolonized impact economies in the region. Mary also serves on the Boards of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center and the Royal Film Commission, contributing to national efforts in health and the creative industries. In addition, she advises WOMOTIVE, which supports women entering the automotive sector, and is a former Board Member of INJAZ, focused on youth entrepreneurship and education.
Mary has long combined advocacy, legal work, and creative initiatives in support of Palestine. She has served on the Boards of Al-Shabaka, the Palestine Policy Network, the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, and the Palestine Legal Aid Fund, and is an Advisor to the British Palestine Media Centre. She also supports entrepreneurship through initiatives such as FLOW Accelerator and Build Palestine, and sits on the Board of the 2048 Foundation, founded by Palestinian artist Saint Levant to champion Palestinian creatives. Earlier in her career, she represented the Anti-Apartheid Wall Campaign in Jordan and curated an exhibition on the wall at Darat al-Funun. Mary created the Gaza Speaks Campaign and was later featured in Stitching Palestine and at a UN exhibit marking the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
